About the Artist
Alissa Walgren is a New Jersey based artist who has been creating art for over 25 years. She works in an illustrative style that is both whimsical and the surreal. Finding her inspiration from nature, the strange and unusual and dreams.
In her spare time Alissa enjoys hiking with her dog Wilbur and napping with her cat Thomas. She is politically active in supporting civil rights as well as environmental protections. Her favorite medium to use when creating new works is oil paint, the bigger the canvas the better.
